asked him on Tuesday for advice about coping with the condition.Harmon suggested that the woman who posed the question “admit and accept” that the depression is happening because “awareness is everything.”
“We put ourselves under so much pressure to feel good. It’s okay to feel bad,” he said. He also urged her to remember that “feelings are real but they aren’t reality” and that she shouldn’t have to “deal with it alone.”

Harmon’s tweeted response surprised the original questioner, who said she was “kinda star struck” to receive a reply. She hailed Harmon’s advice as being “probably better than my therapist could’ve said it.”
