New
homeowners Christie and Mark Evans are surveying the damage to their
dream home, which was leveled by the wildfires in Southern California,
just days after they closed on the property.
Tuesday
night was supposed to be the first night in the home for Christie,
who's eight months pregnant, her husband, and their 17-month-old son.

As
Mark surveyed the area with Inside Edition, a column fell down during
the interview, showcasing that what remains of the house is still
crumbling.

“We lost everything because we moved everything for the new baby over,” Christie Evans said.
