Florida
State quarterback Deondre Francois is not happy about his head coach
Jimbo Fisher resigning. Fisher has agreed to a 10-year, $75 million deal
to become the next head coach at Texas A&M, according to reports.
However,
there are plenty of players still in Tallahassee, like Francois, who
signed on to play the entirety of their college careers with Fisher as
their head coach. They've taken to Twitter to express their distaste for
his departure.
"No call, no text, you could have said something...," Francois wrote on Twitter Friday.
Francois
was the Seminoles starting QB before he went down with a season-ending
injury in Florida State's first game of the year against Alabama. He is a
draft-eligible sophomore, so he can leave the school for the NFL after
the 'Noles season comes to an end, but with a mere 14 starts under his
belt, leaving school at this point may not be the best idea.
Should
Francois stay at Florida State (he could gain back a year of
eligibility with a medical redshirt and play as many as three more
seasons), he would have to do it without the man who recruited him.
