 Kathmandu:november 11/26/2017/ sunday / Birbal Tamang.

Nov 26, 2017-CPN (Moist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Sunday admitted that the bandarmude incident was a grave mistake.  Laying a wreath at the memorial built in memory of those killed in the incident on Sunday, the former Prime Minister said he always had respect for the families of those killed and injured in the incident, while pledging to work with them in a long term.
At least 38 people were killed, and 75 others injured when the then Maoist rebels ambushed an overcrowded bus in Bandarmude in Madi in Chitwan on June 6, 2005.
Dahal, who is running in the December 7 elections from Chitwan constituency 3, which covers the incident area, is reported to have reached Madi for the first time since the incident as part of an election campaign. He is scheduled to address an election campaign at Bandarjhula as well today.
