Kathmandu:november 11/27/2017/ monday/ Birbal tamang.
The top of the billing for UFC Shanghai witnessed the UFC’s #9 middleweight, Kelvin Gastelum, knock the UFC’s former middleweight champion, Michael Bisping,
completely unconscious. Gastelum unleashed a mean 2-piece that dropped
Bisping in brutal fashion, but Bisping didn’t stay down for long, and
returned to his feet to congratulate his opponent. In his post fight
interview, Gastelum offered to fight Robert Whittaker, who just so happens to need an opponent in February of 2018.
**It should be noted that Bisping accepted this bout after dropping the UFC middleweight title to Georges St-Pierre just 21 days ago.
Main Event:
Kelvin Gastelum def. Michael Bisping by KO at 2:30 of round 1: Middleweight
Gastelum opened up the main event launching his kicks as
Bisping began to work his punches. Standing in the pocket, Gastelum
uncorked a right hand to left hook that separated Bisping from his
senses, sending the former middleweight king crashing to the canvas.
Gastelum followed up with a few academic yet brutal ground strikes
before the referee stepped in, rescuing Bisping from any further damage.
Yikes!
